A long-distance oil/gas pipeline is a pipeline used to transport oil/gas fluid among the places of production，storage facility and users，which normally has such features as long distance route，large pipe size and multiple stations（initial station，terminal station，heating station，injection station，off-take station，compressor station，pump house，valve station，etc），and is independently operated and managed.
